Refunds
Refund policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
Credits are sold in USD through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for every purchase. Paddle handles billing, tax, and the refund itself.
1. When you can get a refund
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if none of the credits from that purchase have been used. Because credits are consumed the moment a conversion starts, a purchase with any spent credits is no longer eligible.
2. Partial refunds
If a partial refund is approved, we remove credits in proportion to the amount returned, rounded down in your favour. If those credits were already spent, your balance may go negative and further conversions are blocked until it is positive again.
3. Subscriptions
Cancelling a subscription stops future billing at the end of the current period. Credits already granted for periods you paid for stay in your account. We do not refund a period that has already been served.
4. Failed conversions
If a conversion fails on our side, the credits for it return to your balance automatically — you do not need to ask. A transcription you are unhappy with is not by itself a failure: automated transcription is approximate, and the free credits exist so you can judge the quality before paying anything.
5. How to request one
Write to us through the contact page with the email on your account and the approximate date of purchase. We reply within a few business days. You may also contact Paddle directly as the merchant of record.
6. Processing
Approved refunds return funds to the original payment method. Paddle review and applicable consumer law may affect timing and outcome; how long the money takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
