Frequently asked questions

From turning a song into sheet music to AI songs, pricing and privacy.

Song to sheet music

Does converting a song to sheet music cost anything?

Song-to-score conversion is free for 5 songs a day per member (Korea time); after that you can keep converting with points or credits. Downloading your scores as MusicXML, MIDI or PDF is free too. PDFs carry a watermark; removing it costs 20 credits.

What files can I upload?

MP3, M4A and OGG up to 30 MB, and WAV and FLAC up to 100 MB, between 10 seconds and 10 minutes long. AI tracks from tools like Suno or Udio work, and so do your own recordings — as long as you have the right to upload them.

What kind of score do I get?

A score with separate parts (vocals, keys, guitar, bass, drums, strings) as MusicXML, MIDI and PDF. "Playable" mode lets you pick a difficulty (beginner, intermediate, pro) and parts and tidies the score for playing; "Faithful" mode writes down what it hears. MusicXML opens in MuseScore, Sibelius, Finale and Dorico.

How accurate is the transcription?

It is automatic, so it is an approximation. Melodies usually come out well, but fast ornaments, syncopation and instrument separation can be wrong. Please review the score before rehearsing or performing. You can fix it in the built-in editor (piano roll and score). Saving your edits is free the first time for each song, then 10 credits per save.

How long does it take?

Usually a few minutes. When it is busy you may wait in a queue, and we notify you when it is done. You can close the tab; the job keeps running.

AI songs and scores

Can I create songs with AI?

Yes. Describe the song you want and ingkm writes lyrics, melody, accompaniment and vocals for a 2–5 minute song, together with its score. It also picks the title and genre. Lyrics follow the language of your description — write in English for an English song, in Korean for a Korean one — or just ask for a language (English or Korean).

How much does an AI song cost?

A 2-minute song costs 400 points, plus 100 points for every extra 30 seconds. You get 500 points when you sign up, enough for your first song. The score-only mode costs 210 points for 2 minutes.

How are AI songs labelled, and can I use them?

Songs and scores made with generative AI are labelled "AI-generated". We claim no rights in your outputs and you may use them within our Terms. Outputs made by AI alone may not be protected by copyright and may resemble existing songs, so please check before publishing or commercial use.

Points and credits

What is the difference between points and credits?

Points are free (500 at sign-up and 50 for each daily check-in) and expire 90 days after you get them. Credits are purchased and never expire. Within 14 days of purchase you can get a refund for credits you have not used.

Privacy

What happens to the audio I upload?

It is processed on servers we run ourselves in South Korea and is not sent to outside AI providers. We do not use it to train AI, and only you can see it until you choose to share. Deleted files are erased from storage within about an hour.
